I am a professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences of UESTC (电子科技大学).

I was born in Xichang, a small city in Liangshan Prefecture of Sichuan Province. In 2010 and 2016, I got my B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), under the supervision of Prof. Ting-Zhu Huang. As a Joint-Training Ph.D. student, I worked with Prof. Weihong Guo at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in Cleveland, Ohio, from September 2013 to September 2014. In 2017, I was a postdoctoral researcher at HKBU under Prof. Xue-Cheng Tai (Hong Kong, China). I also paid short visits to the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences (University of Cambridge) and HKBU. My research interest is mainly focusing on Machine learning, Variational image modeling & computing, and various image and vision tasks, e.g., image fusion, image analysis, etc.
